About PickWheel
We built PickWheel because, let’s face it, making fair choices shouldn’t be a headache. Whether you’re a teacher picking students, a team leader stuck on task duty, or a family arguing over takeout again (we get it), we want random selection to be easy—and kinda fun!
Just a Spinner… Or Is It?
PickWheel.xyz started with a lightbulb moment: Why flip a boring old coin when you could spin a vibrant wheel instead? Suddenly, choosing presenters, game night themes, or who has to do the dishes gets a *lot* more exciting. We’ve had folks use PickWheel to settle everything from road trip playlists to (very serious) family pizza debates. Pineapple stays controversial.
Since spinning our first wheel in 2023, we’ve watched our simple decision-making tool turn into a favorite for teachers, planners, remote teams, and—honestly—anyone looking to make a call without the usual stress. No logins, no hoops. Just type, spin, and see what happens.
Behind the colorful wheel? Just a handful of humans geeking out over building things people actually use. You keep using it, we’ll keep spinning up new ideas. Deal?
Meet Your Wheel Picker Crew
We’re a tiny team of teachers, techies, and design nerds who believe sometimes the best decisions are the random ones. This all started with Alex—a proper classroom veteran—who got tired of picking the same three students every Q&A. The rest of us joined in, and the idea spun out from there.
Who’s making it all happen?
- Alex – Teacher-turned-founder and compulsive wheel spinner (rumor is he’s banned from family board game night)
- Maya – Our UX magician—pretty sure she’s the reason the app *looks* and feels so friendly
- Raj – The code wiz who makes sure every pick actually is random (no secret biases, promise)
- Jamie – Support and content wrangler, spins the lunch wheel more often than we’d like to admit
All together, we’re just out here trying to make decision-making less boring, a bit more fair, and, hey, sometimes suspenseful too.

No favoritism here, even if you’re crossing your fingers for “no broccoli.” Our wheel picker runs with secure random number magic, so every spin is anyone’s game.

Your Privacy, Respected
We don’t keep your wheel info, and we’re not in the business of snooping. Everything stays on your device (unless you hit Share, of course). Complete transparency on how our random wheel works—and what we do with your stuff (hint: nothing).
Real Folks, Real Spin Stories: How People Use PickWheel

Classrooms, Honestly
Okay, teachers are using PickWheel almost too much. “Spin to see who answers?” is the new classroom magic trick. Seriously, I’ve seen kids cheer when a name pops up—even if it’s for *fractions*. Who knew a digital wheel picker could make math exciting?
- •
Giveaways & Prizes (So Much Better Than a Hat)
You want a raffle, a random giveaway, a last-minute contest at your family cookout? There’s something about watching the wheel spinner go—that moment right before it stops? Gold. Also, no one can accuse you of “rigging” it. (Looking at you, Aunt Carol.)
- •
Remote Work & Team Decisions
Someone in our office (not naming names) can’t pick a lunch spot to save their life. Enter the wheel picker: burgers or tacos? *Spin!* One click, problem solved, peace restored to Slack channels everywhere.
- •
Can’t Decide in Daily Life?
Dinner ideas, chores, movie night? Dump all your options in and spin for it. Way less arguing and, shockingly, people actually stick to the result (well, most of the time).

Game Night: Shenanigans Approved
Someone needs a dare? Picking trivia categories? Who has to wear the banana hat? (Don’t ask.) The wheel’s got it covered—spins, laughs, maybe a little chaos.
If You Don’t Believe Us, Believe These People
"PickWheel made my students actually *want* to answer questions. Even the shy ones are into it now—which is wild for my class. I use it for everything from projects to picking line leaders."
— Maria T., 5th Grade Teacher / “Spin Queen”
“We ditched the boring hat draw at the office and went full wheel picker mode. People actually get excited to see who wins the coffee voucher—even the boss. And it’s fair, which means fewer grumbles.”
— Devon C., “Wheel Enthusiast,” HR
Wait, What Can You Really Expect from Us?
